A8557/S5803 - Home Rule Bill  

Amends ECL 23-0303(2) to authorize local governments to address natural gas drilling in their zoning or planning ordinances.

 

A7013/S4616 - Uniform Treatment of Drilling Waste Bill

Amends ECL 27-0903 to require hazardous wastes produced from oil and natural gas activities to be subject to the requirements for treatment of hazardous wastes.

 

A3245/S3472 - Home Rule/Local Control Strengthens towns home rule capabilities.

 

 

A2108/S893 - Natural gas exploration and extraction liability act of 2011

Allows recovery once a causal  connection between  the drilling and  related  activity and the damage has been proven.

 

A7218/S4220 - Prohibits drilling permits that use fracking

 

A5318A/S3798 - Water Withdrawal Section 1  (of 11)  requires a permit for withdrawal of 100,000  gallons/day or more.
