A5318A/S3798 - Water Withdrawal Bill  ENACTED                       What’s the Loophole in this Water Bill?››

Section 1 (of 11) of this bill requires permit for withdrawal of 100,000 gallons per day or more. This sounds like a good thing, but hydrofracking companies contract with multiple small trucking companies that can easily stay just under the limit, bypassing the purported reason for the provision.

A2108/S893 - Natural gas exploration and extraction liability act of 2011

This bill will allow recovery once a causal  connection  between  the drilling and  related  activity  and the damage has been proven, replacing existing law which requires that negligent behavior be proven to recover damages.
